Our Investment Thesis

Driving value to the Cosmos Hub, even from outside of the Cosmos ecosystem.

At AADAO,  our investment thesis is designed to maximize value creation for the Cosmos Hub Community Pool. But you don’t have to be a Cosmos project to drive value for the Hub.

Our key motivation is driving value back to the Cosmos Hub. While alignment with the Cosmos Hub through the adoption of Interchain Security or other ATOM use cases helps, it is not a prerequisite for receiving venture funding from us.

Our investment thesis could be summarized into the three buckets described below.

#1. Projects launching with Interchain Security (ICS)

We prioritize investments in projects launching with Interchain Security, including those within the Atom Economic Zone (AEZ).

These projects directly contribute to the Cosmos Hub and the ATOM token, by utilizing Cosmos Hub’s economic security, driving onchain activity or the demand for ATOM.

#2. Projects in the broader Cosmos ecosystem

We invest in projects that, although launching elsewhere in the Interchain or broader Cosmos ecosystem, bring value back to ATOM.

This could be through revenue sharing, the use of ATOM as gas, or other mechanisms that enhance the utility and demand for ATOM. We also support projects that expand the IBC ecosystem and foster connections with other blockchain ecosystems.

#3. High ROI projects in any ecosystem

Beyond the Cosmos ecosystem, we are open to investing in any Web3 projects across any blockchain network that offers a high return on investment.

These ventures must demonstrate significant potential for growth and innovation, making them attractive opportunities for our portfolio.

For projects in this bucket, you do not need to have any connection to ATOM or Cosmos. However, cross-chain collaboration with ATOM or Cosmos is highly recommended.
