Airdrops have long been a pivotal value driver for ATOM stakers, yet the full extent of their impact has remained elusive. To address this, AADAO has awarded Everstake with a $96,851 grant for the development of an “Atom Value Accrual” tracker. This essential tool will comprehensively illustrate and continuously track the growth in value derived from staking ATOM, while capturing all the airdrops ATOM stakers have qualified for.
The grant will support the creation of a user-friendly dashboard that offers detailed visualizations and data about staking and airdrop activities within the Cosmos ecosystem since 2020. Additionally, Everstake will deliver API endpoints to allow wallets, platforms, and other user interfaces to access and display this data across Cosmos and other ecosystems.
The initial milestone includes setting up project management tools, establishing communication channels, onboarding project team members, conducting market research, and defining UI features with mockups. The anticipated platform will enable users to track different airdrops, such as for Osmosis, Evmos, Neutron, Saga, Juno, and Celestia.
This comprehensive tracker aims to enhance visibility and accessibility of airdrop and staking information, offering retrospective data display capabilities for wallet owners. By providing detailed insights into the value accrued from staking and airdrops, Everstake’s initiative will significantly benefit the ATOM community, fostering greater engagement and informed decision-making within the Cosmos ecosystem.
