As the Cosmos Hub continues to expand, there is a critical need for reliable and scalable public infrastructure to support its growth. To address this, AADAO is excited to award a $74,970 grant to Lava Network for the development of an incentivized Public RPC model. This initiative aims to provide fast, reliable, and scalable access to the Cosmos Hub’s data by consolidating several top RPC providers into a single, high-performance endpoint.
Lava Network’s model will enhance data access by ensuring constant availability, cost efficiency, and robust performance. This critical infrastructure will empower innovative dApps, dashboards, and other applications to thrive without being hindered by unreliable RPC endpoints.
Metrics for success will include the percentage of Cosmos Hub RPC traffic handled by Lava’s public endpoint, as well as benchmarks for latency, uptime, and synchronization. Additionally, user and developer satisfaction will be evaluated through Interchain projects connected to the Cosmos Hub via IBC.
By addressing the fragmentation and unreliability of public RPC services, Lava Network’s solution will offer affordable and dependable RPC access to public contributors who may not have the means for premium services. This grant is a significant step toward enabling the Cosmos Hub ecosystem to grow and innovate with enhanced infrastructure support.
