Italy boasts a vibrant student community with immense potential to contribute to the growing Cosmos ecosystem. Recognizing the importance of tapping into this pool of young talent, AADAO has awarded a grant of $9,600 to Made in Block (now Kintsugi) to host Interchain Meetups across Italian universities. This grant is to create educational events aimed at teaching students about Cosmos, attracting developers, and providing resources in Italian, thereby expanding the technical community and fostering new contributions to the ecosystem.
Grant goals include organizing events to engage over 200 attendees, hosting Cosmos-themed workshops, featuring guest speakers from the Desmos Network, and conducting sessions on creating independent blockchains. These initiatives aim to generate significant interest and lay the groundwork for ongoing engagement.
Made in Block also plans to cover a wider range of topics and collaborate with other Cosmos projects and communities. This grant highlights the need for detailed planning in community-building efforts, but ultimately, it demonstrates the potential of targeted educational initiatives to drive growth and innovation within the Cosmos ecosystem.
