This grant will task Ludium with organizing a local hackathon in South Korea. The winners will be selected to travel to Dubai to participate in Hackmos 2024 (October 25-27).
Our previous grant to Ludium was to create a ‘mission-based’ developer education course in Korean and English, and target up to 100 local developers in South Korea to participate in the course. As of September 2024:
- The team has created 49 articles and 74 missions (in Korean, English translation coming later);
- Secured partnerships with university blockchain clubs to run the course in their clubs
- Is hosting 7 instructor-led sessions to go through the course
With this grant, Ludium will organize a local hackathon, targeting participation from at least 50 developers in South Korea who are currently taking part in the mission-based course. Winners of this hackathon will have their travel and accommodation costs covered by this grant to travel to Dubai and participate in Hackmos 2024 (along with two Ludium staff).
At Hackmos, we hope the hackathon team will build something with a direct ATOM/Cosmos Hub connection. This could be:
- A CosmWasm-based DeFi, social, or gaming dApp that launches on Neutron (or the Cosmos Hub).
- Tooling that can improve the developer experience for the Cosmos Hub / AEZ ecosystem.
- Build any other project that works with or uses ATOM or is connected to the Cosmos Hub and the AEZ.
