In a strategic move to enhance governance and operational efficiency within the Cosmos Hub, AADAO has awarded an $88,000 grant to DAO DAO. This initiative aims to integrate DAO DAO’s advanced decentralized governance and human organization tools into the Cosmos Hub, leveraging the platform’s proven capabilities to streamline and optimize governance processes.
DAO DAO, a leading platform in the Cosmos ecosystem, manages over $300 million across 11 chains and supports 5,226 DAOs. Its smart contracts are widely audited and utilized, offering robust solutions for community governance. By introducing DAO DAO’s tools to the Cosmos Hub, the need for independent development of governance modules, smart contracts, or user interfaces is eliminated.
Key features of DAO DAO include Token DAOs, NFT DAOs, and Membership DAOs, all supported by an intuitive user interface for proposal creation, voting, and exploration. The platform also offers sophisticated structures like SubDAOs and cross-chain accounts via Polytone, allowing DAOs to control assets on different chains.
This grant supports the integration of DAO DAO’s tools into the Cosmos Hub, building on the success of a previous deployment on Neutron, which AADAO currently utilizes. With CosmWasm now live on the Cosmos Hub, the community can natively leverage DAO DAO’s capabilities to establish various SubDAOs, enabling specialized governance and resource allocation. This integration is a critical step towards a more organized and cohesive governance framework, essential for advancing the Cosmos Hub and the Atom Economic Zone (AEZ).
