The Cosmos ecosystem faces a notable gap with the absence of an official CosmWasm repository, making it challenging for developers to find a comprehensive resource for smart contract examples. To address this, AADAO has awarded a $10,000 grant to support the “CosmWasm By Example” project.
This grant is to create a dedicated GitHub repository and a user-friendly website that serve as a comprehensive registry of sample CosmWasm smart contracts, inspired by Solidity By Example. The repository will offer easily viewable examples with explanations, providing developers with inspiration, concept reminders, and templates. The website, featuring highlighted code blocks for each example, will serve as an interface for the repository and provide detailed documentation through README.md files.
Set grant milestones include integrating with ChainIDE, adding open-source CosmWasm contracts, and improving the open-source contribution process. The team also plans to continue enhancing the project by adding new features, improving user experience, and promoting it within the Cosmos developer community. Collaboration with other Cosmos projects is also on the agenda to build a more comprehensive resource for developers.
Overall, the CosmWasm By Example grant aims to become the go-to resource for developers working with CosmWasm and foster greater adoption within the Cosmos ecosystem.
