In support of the Cosmos Hub ecosystem’s goal to strengthen its community and engage with the broader blockchain space, AADAO has awarded a $29,540 grant to Miwa Events. This grant will cover venue costs, food and drinks, photography, merchandise printing, and Miwa’s service fees, ensuring smooth logistics for the event and fostering collaboration and innovation in the blockchain space.
Scheduled for the day before EthCC from 12 PM to 7 PM, this event will target both ETH and Cosmos participants, focusing on developers and accelerating the launch of Partial Set Security (PSS) chains. It highlights AADAO’s commitment to fostering a dynamic ecosystem around the Cosmos Hub.
The event will feature keynote presentations from Ethan, who will introduce the PSS Launch front-end, and Youssef, who will discuss the grants, venture, and Quadratic Funding (QF) programs available to support developers in the Atom Economic Zone (AEZ). Attendees will benefit from a series of hands-on workshops, including a crash course on bootstrapping an appchain, an alpha trial of the ICS chain launch tool, a CosmWasm tutorial for building smart contracts, and guidance on launching nodes and relaying IBC.
Additionally, the event will host an AEZ pitch night where prospective PSS chains and applications will present their projects to venture capitalists, including a representative from AADAO. As well as finishing off with a cocktail hour for further networking amongst the attendees. Overall providing the perfect opportunity for newcomers in the space to get hands on with the Hub and more involved in the community.
Note: $22,152.31 of the $29,540 was actually spent, and the savings were rolled over to the next event with this grantee, as that event is currently in planning.
