Cosmos Hub as Co-Host of Flixfest’24

This grant to Omniflix will allow the Cosmos Hub to be featured as the co-host of Flixfest 2024, one of the key side events of Cosmoverse.

Flixfest is a fun side event organized annually, bringing together different Cosmos appchain communities, projects and developers. It’s an opportunity for Cosmos Hub representatives to engage with current and potential Cosmos Hub contributors and integrators in an informal context.

With public tickets for the event selling out in less than four hours, our sponsorship of Flixfest allows us to invite key AEZ partners to the event.

As well as the Cosmos Hub (via AADAO), other event sponsors and partners include Osmosis, Huginn Stake, Inter Protocol, StreamSwap, Stakecito, Arka Protocol, PostHuman, and Mad Scientists.

This helped us produce media and plan experiences for various types of events including our own. FlixFest is an IP developed by OmniFlix to bring together not just the FlixFam but the entire interchain ecosystem.

With 2 successful FlixFest events in Medellin 2022 238 attendees Istanbul 2023 398 attendees and over 40 community meetups hosted over the past 6 years we intend to make it even bigger this year. Partnering with the right collaborators is key and this year we have the right set of partners to make it better. We believe we have the insights to host an engaging and enjoyable evening especially for Cosmos Hub contributors.
