Telegrams ecosystem boasts approximately 900 million monthly active users many of whom are deeply interested in cryptocurrency and blockchainrelated activities. Conversely the TON network while promising remains relatively slow and costly for average crypto newcomers. This is where the Cosmos ecosystem with its elegant Wasm and powerful IBC offering fast and inexpensive transactions can play a pivotal role.
Telegram users growing interest in cryptocurrency aligns perfectly with Cosmos ambition to expand its user base. Therefore it makes sense to facilitate a mutually beneficial relationship between the two. We are pleased to introduce JetWallet a robust signing infrastructure for chains based on the Cosmos SDK in the form of a Telegram miniapp.
JetWallet comprises four key components:
- Secure Private Key Storage Simple access with biometrics passcode.
- Basic Account Operations Facilitates essential transactions within like send stake claim etc.
- Transaction Casting and Signing Across various Cosmosbased chains.
- JetPack JS Library Allows crossminiapp interaction fostering a more seamless dev user experience.
These features collectively simplify the development of Cosmos-related Telegram miniapps allowing development teams to focus on enhancing app functionality and user engagement. The integration of a TONCosmos bridge and JetWallet within Telegram has the potential to create a powerful synergistic loop attracting both new users and capital to the Cosmos ecosystem.
This union has the potential for an entire layer of Cosmos apps to appear within the Telegram ecosystem. Which in turn will significantly increase the active user base of Cosmos even if only a small percentage of Telegrams 500 million miniapp monthly active users would be converted.
Trigger a viral effect from 100000 MAU and increase the total MAU of the Cosmos ecosystem to 5 million Attract new developers and teams to create mini apps based on Cosmos Ecosystem Enhance user awareness and skills in Cosmos technologies
The Cosmos ecosystem is struggling to attract users and developers despite its outstanding technologies such as IBC and CosmWasm. Currently the total number of active users is less than 2 million per month. Meanwhile the Telegram mini app ecosystem shows immense potential with 500 million active users monthly.
Our project aims to integrate Cosmos ecosystem capabilities with the popular Telegram platform for potential significant user base increase. As the NOT project did with a relatively simple clicker attracting a large number of users.
