At Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO), we understand that while supporting technical advancements is key to the growth of the Cosmos Hub, equally important is nurturing the community that brings those innovations to life.
Via our recent grant to Alex Cosmonaut, a special three-round Hub meme fest is being held, animating the Hub’s culture, creativity, and global adoption. Let’s explain…
About Alex Cosmonaut & the Hub Meme Fest
Alex Cosmonaut is a long-standing member of the Cosmos Hub community, continuously creating content around the Hub to further spread awareness, and among other contributions, also runs the Cosmos Merch Store.
To further animate the community, Alex has taken on the responsibility of hosting the Hub Meme Fest, funded by an AADAO grant of $3,500.
The Hub Meme Fest invites all creatives to participate by submitting their best memes showcasing Atom and the latest features of the Cosmos Hub. This competition is broken down into three rounds, each with a prize pool of $1,000 in Atom.
To enter, simply post your meme on X (formerly Twitter) in the form of a JPG, animated GIF, or video (up to 30 seconds). Be sure to tag @cosmoshub and use the hashtag #HubMemeFest along with the $ATOM ticker in your post. Any entries without these will be disqualified. Participants can submit up to three memes, and the winners are selected based on the level of engagement and community support they receive.
Each participant is eligible for one cash prize. In addition to the prizes, the top 30 memes will be curated and inscribed on the Asteroid Protocol, further immortalizing their creativity. Plus, inscription fees are rolled over into the prize pool for future meme competitions, making it an exciting and ongoing community event.
Driving Key Hub Exposure
The Hub Meme Fest isn’t just about sharing funny or clever content, it’s about building stronger connections within the Web3 space as a whole. With each round, more people get involved, more memes are shared, and more Atom gets promoted across social media. The result? Increased visibility for Cosmos Hub, boosted community engagement, and great fun along the way.
Two rounds of this competition have already taken place. The first round took place in January 2025 with five winners, sharing the $1,000 Atom prize pool. First place went to this avid Hub community member, sharing information on how the Hub is making it through the bear market:
The second round took place in February 2025, with three winners this time, also sharing a $1,000 Atom prize pool. First place went to this creative Hub community member who created a real-life Cosmos Hub diorama.

About the Atom Accelerator DAO
Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO) is a governance-mandated DAO of the Cosmos Hub. We have been formed and mandated to drive value for the Cosmos Hub and ATOM, supporting initiatives that either directly create economic impact or produce value that can drive its growth. From this, our current primary mandates are public grants and venture grants.
