The Passage team has a deep history in experiential events, having worked on complex virtual experiences for brands like Warner Brothers, Disney, and Amazon Studios.
Passage was also the first NFT marketplace in the Cosmos ecosystem to use native ATOM as a medium of exchange. From Fall 2022 to Summer 2023, the marketplace facilitated $8M in ATOM transactions before the launch and transition to PASG as its native currency.
Expanding ATOM Utility with Passage
With a grant from AADAO, Passage is poised to expand ATOM’s utility:
- Enable IBC ATOM payments on their marketplace, making it a preferred currency for minting and trading digital assets.
- Launch exclusive Passage avatar customizations, available only through ATOM, incentivizing more users to engage with the token.
- Build the Cosmos Community Hub, a virtual gathering space for Cosmos creators, collectors, and community members.
While $30,000 of the $75,000 grant is guaranteed, the remaining amount is performance-based, making marketplace activity and community engagement keys to success.
A Hub for Engagement, Education, and Events
Passage is bringing the Cosmos community together like never before, with two unique worlds for collaboration, learning, and live events.
The ATOM Oasis is a digital venue for conferences and events like Cosmoverse, while the Cosmos Community Hub will serve as a gathering space for education, interactive governance, and community-driven initiatives across the Hub.
Both custom worlds feature industry-leading graphics via Unreal Engine 5.
To showcase the potential of virtual events in Passage, the team hosted a series of live talks during Cosmoverse, allowing users from anywhere in the world to participate.
This not only allowed AADAO to expand its presence at Cosmoverse, but also gave global attendees the chance to engage in real-time discussion with speakers.
Featuring Cosmos ecosystem builders and thought leaders from AADAO, Polli, Astrovault, Cosmos Spaces, and more, the sessions brought in thousands of viewers and earned nearly 40,000 impressions on social media.
