The goal, leveraging a grant from Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO), is for Map of Zones to build an advanced platform to track ATOM’s Total Value Locked (TVL) and bridging flows, offering unparalleled insights to enhance transparency, utility, and adoption across the interchain.

Map of Zones is a leading interchain analytics platform in the Cosmos ecosystem, providing insights into IBC-connected chains. Our team co-founded this platform to empower users with data-driven tools that enhance ecosystem transparency and usability, including IBC bridge integrations for platforms like DeFiLlama.
Throughout our experience, we noticed that ATOM lacks a dedicated platform providing comprehensive visibility into its interchain deployment and movement. Without this, stakeholders are unable to fully understand ATOM’s role across DeFi platforms, bridging flows, and governance participation.
This lack of transparency limits ATOM’s utility and adoption within the AEZ. The ATOM Interchain Insights project addresses this gap by building a robust analytics platform that tracks TVL, interchain bridging, and movement patterns of ATOM, empowering users with actionable data to make informed decisions.
ATOM Interchain Insights
ATOM Interchain Insights is an advanced analytics platform dedicated to tracking ATOM’s Total Value Locked (TVL) across IBC-connected DeFi platforms and its bridging flows between Cosmos Hub and connected chains. AADAO’s dedicated $91,200 grant is pivotal in enabling this initiative, allowing us to build and scale this platform effectively.
The grant will be allocated to:
- Development of the TVL Dashboard to provide drill-down insights by chain, application, and DeFi product.
- Bridging Flow Visualization and Usage Heatmap to dynamically show ATOM movements across chains.
- Infrastructure setup and 12 months of operational support post-launch.
The main goal of this project is to drive ATOM’s adoption and utility by making it a more transparent and trusted asset within the AEZ. By empowering users, developers, and projects with in-depth analytics, ATOM Interchain Insights will help the Cosmos Hub achieve its vision of being the core of the interchain economy.
