To firmly position the Cosmos Hub at the forefront of innovative NFT use cases, Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO) has strategically approved a grant for Superbolt, aiming to revolutionize NFT utility and trading within the Atom Economic Zone (AEZ).
About Superbolt
Superbolt is a team of experienced Cosmos natives specializing in DeFi and NFT projects. Their mission is to transform NFTs into financial assets, enhancing their utility and liquidity. Superbolt aims to be the primary NFT destination on Neutron and a key gateway into the Cosmos ecosystem. Their three pillars – Marketplace, Foundry (Issuance Platform), and NFTFi products – are designed to elevate the Cosmos NFT experience and drive DeFi adoption.
To ensure the Hub takes a strong stance in this new wave of NFTfi, AADAO has awarded Superbolt with a grant of $125,000 to develop an advanced protocol on Neutron. This initiative, which also received matching funds from the Neutron Grants Program for a total of $250,000, will feature a cutting-edge NFT marketplace and a no-code launchpad.
Bringing advanced NFTfi to the AEZ
First, what is NFTfi? NFTfi, or NFT finance, is an emerging sector that transforms NFTs into financial assets, enhancing their utility and liquidity. By turning NFTs into assets that can be borrowed against, traded in fractions, or used as collateral, NFTfi opens up new possibilities for their use in the financial ecosystem.
Leveraging this grant, Superbolt will introduce fractionalization, breaking down NFTs into smaller, fungible tokens, making them more accessible and tradable. Additionally, Superbolt’s NFTfi Layer will leverage Astroport PCL for efficient trading and enable borrowing and lending with NFTs as collateral thereby expanding their financial utility.
Superbolt’s grant will be distributed based on set milestones, such as the launch of the marketplace and foundry on the mainnet, the launch of the NFTfi mainnet with initial features, and possible incremental funding based on trading volume and total value locked (TVL) targets.
The NFT Marketplace on Neutron will serve as a customizable trading hub, featuring advanced analytics, various user modes (including Degen mode), and a sleek UI/UX design. Future plans to incorporate messaging features will further enhance user interaction.
Superbolt’s NFT Foundry, a no-code launchpad, aims to simplify NFT creation, encouraging creativity and community growth by removing technical barriers. Superbolt aims to position Neutron as the premier platform for NFT launches, with future integrations to facilitate seamless NFTfi onboarding. Finally, to unlock the full grant amount, Superbolt will need to achieve specific Total Value Locked (TVL) targets.
Looking Forward
By removing technical hurdles, Superbolt’s initiative in the AEZ will encourage creativity and community growth, positioning Neutron as the go-to platform for NFT launches. With AADAO support for the development of these advanced NFT finance solutions, Superbolt is set to bring advanced NFTfi to the AEZ and ultimately boost onchain activities on the Hub.
