With our mission to fund projects driving new use cases to accelerate the Cosmos Hub, Stargaze’s integration of ATOM and launch of initiatives like the Atom August Campaign and Creators Fund are significant steps toward bringing ATOM utility to the NFT space and further fostering innovation within the Atom Economic Zone (AEZ). About Stargaze
With over four million NFTs generating $12M for creators on a single platform, Stargaze is the fastest and most powerful community-owned app chain for NFTs. It empowers creators, traders, and developers by providing tools for NFT minting, trading, and advanced NFT-Fi applications, all with zero gas minting and trading.
On top of its platform, Stargaze leads campaigns that bolster existing projects and inspire NFT creators to venture into new ecosystems.
- With an AADAO grant of $50,000, Stargaze will conduct the following:
- Implement ATOM as a mint denomination on their platform;
- Organize and launch “Atom August” a four-week campaign where all Stargaze Featured projects will mint in ATOM, along with its respective ATOM Creators Fund project;
- Promote measurable use of ATOM over time through mint volume in ATOM denoms;
- Incubate the cultural, marketing, and community value of NFTs associated with a particular denom.
Driving Value to the Hub
NFTs have evolved into a crucial use case for fungible tokens, acting as interfaces for art, community engagement, DAO membership, ticketing, gaming, and NFT-FI. Their ability to facilitate a wide range of goods and services makes them an essential component of the blockchain ecosystem.
All to say, getting involved in the NFT space offers immense opportunities for innovation, community building, and economic activity.The granted initiatives will leverage Stargaze’s role as both a cultural hub within the Cosmos ecosystem and a bridge to external communities like Ethereum’s NFT networks. It will establish a compelling new use case for the ATOM token through NFT trading, while simultaneously cultivating marketing strategies, storytelling, and cultural value through communities centered around ATOM-minted collections.
Overall, this will provide a baseline of measurable value driven to ATOM and the AEZ through on-chain mint activity on Stargaze alongside significant potential upside through the subsequent activities of ATOM-associated NFT collections and overall marketing reach.
The impact will be measured through Stargaze Launchpad metrics, tracking ATOM-based collection launches, sales volumes, and user acquisition of ATOM for NFT minting.
Atom August Campaign
To kick off establishing ATOM as a mint denomination on their platform, Stargaze is bringing forward the Atom August Campaign, which includes the ATOM Creators Fund.
The Atom August campaign is designed to drive ATOM’s use on Stargaze’s NFT marketplace, measure ATOM usage over time through mint volume, and incubate the cultural, marketing, and community value of ATOM-associated NFTs.
The ATOM Creators Fund includes encouraging one to three high-profile artists from outside the Cosmos ecosystem to launch signature collections on Stargaze, leveraging ATOM for the collection. The Stargaze team will execute on marketing and outreach efforts, produce onboarding material for the creators and conduct workshops on minting with ATOM.

About the Atom Accelerator DAO
Atom Accelerator DAO (AADAO) is a governance-mandated DAO of the Cosmos Hub. We have been formed and mandated to drive value for the Cosmos Hub & ATOM, supporting initiatives that either directly create economic impact or produce value that can drive its growth. From this, our current primary mandates are public grants and venture grants.
Atom Accelerator’s venture arm, strategically invests in promising early stage web3 founders and startups both within and outside of the Cosmos Hub’s ecosystem. Offering expertise, guidance, and support as experts within the Cosmos ecosystem while driving value towards Atom.
In 2023, we deployed $3.8 million in grants to 39 recipients – resulting in, among other things – a $22m USD airdrop to the Community Pool, an AEZ Accelerator program to expand the AEZ, a successful hackathon with 42 project submissions bringing innovations to the AEZ – and many other key initiatives.
